This design makes a statement. I spent a few months crafting it from start to finish. Each piece is carefully thought out to fit in with the Gothic architectural feel. Plus, the Flying Buttresses really do work. It's a perfect conversation piece for any room, or it can make a cozy nightlight on your dresser.
A great deal of inspiration came from great historical designs, such as Notre Dame Cathedral. Just over 120+ pieces, this 3D kit goes from a flat-packed wooden cards to a functional piece of art. The pieces are designed to lock together. Adding glue is optional if it will be moved frequently. It also comes with the lamp cord, which you build the lamp around. Of course, you can take it all apart and let someone else try it.
The material is raw, birch wood. It comes in 3mm thickness which is ideal for the detail shown. The nature of laser cut designs leaves a darkened edge, but it adds texture to the design. If you like, feel free to finish the wood yourself in a stain or paint that suits your taste. When assembled, the lamp stands about 16" tall, and is about 10" in diameter. There is a build manual you can view in the support page of our website if you want to get a feel for how complex the kit is.
There are small pieces involved, use caution around young ones.
